nuuds is looking for a Director of Wholesale to join the team. You will be responsible for developing and managing the company's wholesale operations. This includes building and maintaining relationships with wholesale partners, increasing sales through effective strategies, and ensuring the profitability and growth of the wholesale segment. The role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the wholesale market, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive wholesale strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the wholesale market.
- Lead and manage the wholesale department to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale partners and clients.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with wholesale partners to ensure favorable agreements.
- Identify and pursue new wholesale business opportunities and markets.
- Analyze market data and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wholesale department, ensuring efficient processes and systems.
- Manage inventory levels and order fulfillment to meet partner demand.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Develop and manage the wholesale budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales, margins, and profitability.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by wholesale partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Mas'ter's degree preferred).
- 10 + years of relevant industry experience
- Proven experience in a wholesale sales or business development role, preferably in a leadership position.
- Strong collaboration, influencing and problem-solving skills with a team-first attitude.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Extensive experience developing and executing strategies and plans.
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
