General Summary: NuWaves, a premier supplier of Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave Systems, RF/Microwave Products, and Engineering Design and Development Services, is actively seeking talented and highly motivated Project Managers (PMs). The Project Manager assists in implementation, management, supervision, and evaluation of multiple RF design and development projects. This individual generates and disseminates strong project knowledge and cost, schedule, and scope information to NuWaves’ Leadership team. Working cross-domain to achieve strategic outcomes, this position provides tactical oversight for all activities within their assigned projects. Technical writing competency is a requirement for this position. Electronic or Engineering background RF/Microwaves Systems is a plus.
 
Essential Function: Provide project leadership, from a business system view, within the boundaries of scope, cost, and schedule. Manage and grow customer relationship. Manage, direct, and lead technical engineering teams in executing on project goals.

Performance Objectives

    • Lead technical teams within a matrix organization to deliver high-quality, high-performance, engineering developments within budget, scope, and schedule immediately.
    • Generate a working understanding of NuWaves’ business system within 60 days, with the goal of contributing to system improvements thereafter. This includes understanding the company strategy and working within NuWaves’ Quality Management System.
    • Support Bid and Proposal (B&P) process by assuming the role of Capture Lead as necessary within a 9-month period.
    • Be fully compliant to government contracting (i.e., FARs, DFARs) inclusive of accounting standards on FFP, T&M, and CPFF projects within a 12-month period. 
Typical Education and Experience: Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in related field.
 
Working Conditions: This position requires sitting for an extended period of time,lifting no more than 50 lbs., and frequent sitting and standing.
