Our client is an Australian graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics and presentations. The app includes readymade templates for users to use. Their platform is a go-to place for all design needs on the web.
We are looking for a Link Building Specialist with a strong relationship/link building background to help grow our client's online visibility, making it a globally recognized brand in all things design.
The ideal candidate will be effective at building relationships by using white hat SEO strategies. This role is important given the need to scale out link-building efforts across our growing portfolio of products and platforms.
As someone who’s sending emails on a daily basis, you will likely not get replies from all your emails, and we understand that. But we’re looking for that candidate who’s a go-getter and doesn’t get easily discouraged by this and thrives in these kinds of scenarios.
Our client is flexible in terms of link-building strategies, as long as they don’t hurt the website’s health in any way.
What you will do:
- Prospect Research (using the web and our tools such as Ahrefs to look for relevant sites and people for linking opportunities)
- Email Outreach (can craft effective emails and replies to be used for reaching out to different site owners & influencers around the web)
- Content Outline Creation
- Competitor Link Analysis (performing competitor research to analyze and identify gaps and linking opportunities)
- Progress Tracking (track of outreach efforts, reporting, and providing recommendations for process improvement)
- Work hand-in-hand with different SEO and non-SEO stakeholders for specific projects
Who you are:
- At least 2 years relevant SEO experience
- Solid understanding of why links are essential in SEO
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to think on their feet
- Driven, passionate, and can work with minimum supervision
- Knowledge of SEO tools like Moz, BuzzSumo, AHREFS and Dragon Metrics, Google Analytics and Search Console is a plus
- Familiar with different Google search operators (for research)
- Track record in ‘white-hat’ quality link building
- Project management experience
- Good with personalizing emails for relationship building
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
- Willing to work on a hybrid set up
