The Technical Manager is responsible for the achievement of the sales volume, revenue, and profitability growth targets. The position is also expected to build and develop relationships with customers in the industry.

What you will do:

Market Intelligence and Research
1. Collaborate with Sales in providing competitive market data and analysis (i.e. competitor pricing, programs, and customer feedback) for planning and decision making.
2. Coordinate with the regional distributor to determine and assist in the execution and implementation of appropriate strategies to determine market position to support sales and marketing plans, programs, and strategy development.
3. Update and ensure accuracy of the market information database.

Business Management & Operational Excellence
1. Lead and facilitate the technical and sales teams in addressing business issues and concerns.
2. Provide quarterly updates to upper management on market intelligence, competitor pricing, activities' inventory & implementation, and other relevant information affecting the marketplace.
3. Lead the technical sales team and share responsibility for the achievement of the market share, revenue and profitability targets.

People Development
1. Supervises, monitors and evaluates the performance of direct subordinates including but not limited to Distributor Sales Technicians.
2. Ensures the strength of the technical people by building Performance Development Plan and providing intervention for the development and growth of direct subordinates.

Sales Technical Support
1. Lead the Sales and Technical services teams to develop data to ensure product quality and performance.
2. Provide technical training and support to internal and external stakeholders such as Distributor Sales Technician and in house technicians.
3. Give seminars to regional events and in association in support of our vision and mission.

Strategic Business Development
1. Assists in the strategic planning and development of the company’s business
2. Continuously look for new product/business opportunities for the ruminant market to gain sustainable growth.
3. Responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining strategic partnerships and relationship with key industry stakeholders such as but not limited to goat and cattle breeder associations, goat and cattle related suppliers including veterinary medicine companies, and relevant government and non government institutions with common goals of supporting the industry.

Who you are:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience in sales and technical field
    • Experience in building strong customer relationships in dairy and ruminant nutrition
    • Independent and requires minimal supervision
    • Strong sales, interpersonal, negotiation & networking skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • Willingness to travel 80-90% of the time
    • With driver's license
