The Software Engineer develops, creates, and modifies applications software and specialized utility programs. Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions. Designs software or customizes for use. Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually and coordinating database development as part of a team. Designs, develops and maintains applications as part of Nyansa’s Voyance solution. Tests software applications and various modules in accordance with development standards and procedures. Debugs and fixes uses seen on live deployments. Configures networking devices to push relevant data to Nyansa’s on-premise components and cloud servers. Implements code to handle data collected by SNMP, CLI, Syslog, Netflow, and other vendor specific messages. Implements code to process messages from the Voyance Mac OS Agent. Utilizes knowledge of the following tools and technologies: Java, C, Efficient high-level and low-level development, Multi-Threading Software, and Makefiles.

Education: Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related.

Requirements:
• At least 2 years (24 months) of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or closely related
working with the following tools and technologies: Java, C, Efficient high-level and low-level development,
Multi-Threading Software, and Makefiles.
• All experience may be gained concurrently.
