Evo Solar is continuing our explosive growth and expanding our electrical installation team.
We are in need of adding a full-time Electrician to our growing construction team and looking for individuals with some background and previous experience working as an Electrician in Residential and possibly some Commercial.
We are a NYSERTA certified Installer and looking for quality people to join our team!!!

The ideal Electrician will be experienced with commercial or residential projects. The Electrician will be able to safely terminate live wires, perform electrical service upgrade, be ok working in all seasons and not afraid of heights.

Duties for an Electrician are;
Installs and monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Understand layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware
Mechanical and structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment;
Basic electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
Ensure proper clean-up of job site
Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety;
Responsible for following the safe work practices for the installation team
All other assignments and special projects, as requested by Management.
Qualified candidates for the Electrician position will have;
3-5 years of experience working as an electrician
Must have own tools
Must be comfortable with being on roofs with pitched surfaces
Cannot have a fear of heights
Ability to work in extreme weather (hot and sunny as well as colder temperatures)
Ability to climb ladders/stairs
