As part of our growth and expansion we are further growing out our Construction Team. We are looking to add Solar Installers immediately as we will have started to complete Installs. If you are looking to grow to the next level in your career and join a NYSERDA certified Installer, you will be a key member of our team as we take the NJ market to new heights.

We are in our Busiest Time of Year and here is no better time to start.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with solar or roof installations, works well outdoors, feels comfortable working on a roof, able to lift 50+ pounds and follow safety policies and procedures.

Roofer - Solar Installer:
Assemble job components;
Layout and assembly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware;
Mechanical and structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment;
Basic electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
Ensure proper clean-up of job site
Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety;
Responsible for following the safe work practices for the installation team; and
All other assignments and special projects, as requested by Management.
Qualifications of a Roofer - Solar Installer:
Prior Solar Installation Experience
Must be comfortable with being on roofs with pitched surfaces for extended periods of time
Cannot have a fear of heights
Ability to lift 50-70 pound ladders
Ability to work in extreme weather (hot and sunny as well as colder temperatures)
Ability to climb ladders/stairs
Driver's license required
OSHA 10 required
Roofer - Solar Installer is eligible for:
