The incoming resource will work within a best-in-class compliance function, supporting the scaling and regulatory adherence of a successful UK Bank and growing to become a knowledgeable and experienced compliance professional.

Job Responsibilities

    • Junior member of second line Compliance Advisory team, part of the wider Risk function
    • Supporting the day-to-day tasks of the Deputy Head of Compliance and wider advisory team including horizon scanning, conflicts of interests / outside business interests checks and general regulatory impact analysis.
    • Leading on monthly management information and reporting initiatives
    • General administrative duties of the function

Essential Experience

    • 5-6 years compliance experience within financial services

OakNorth Bank was built on the foundations of frustrations with old-school banking. In 2005, when our founders tried to get capital for their data analytics company, the computer said ‘no’. Unfortunately, all major banks in the UK were using the same computer – and it was broken.
