OakNorth Analytical Intelligence – Credit

You will:

    • Conduct detailed analysis of loan opportunities across various sectors in different geographies
    • Develop detailed financial model comprising transaction details, financial statement analysis, projections, credit metrics, amongst others
    • Conduct sensitivity analysis on projections – for stress testing on loans for serviceability
    • Identify deal specific covenants which can act as early warning signals while monitoring loans
    • Draft credit reports with key takeaways on opportunity; report has to be concise, easy to read format for credit and risk to review and comment
    • Conduct detailed industry/market studies to understand operating environment of borrower
    • Monitor borrower performance on an ongoing basis and producing periodic review reports, including annual reviews
    • Interact with clients to discuss data gaps, inconsistencies, analytical frameworks etc.
    • Lead a team of analysts to execute and deliver tasks as per timelines
    • Manage and keeping team morale positive in testing times 
    • Coordinate with product teams to explain credit specific requirements as product features 

You have:

    • 10-14 years' experience in undertaking credit analysis with a focus on creating financial models and drafting reports (business, market, pros & cons, executive summary, etc.)
    • Exposure working in corporate lending, investment banks (research units), asset managers, direct lenders, etc.
    • Team management experience
    • The capability of managing client communication, e.g. identifying data gaps, data inconsistencies, presenting findings, etc.
    • Exposure working in corporate lending, investment banks (research units), asset managers, direct lenders, etc.
    • Personal drive and are an independent thinker who can manage tasks in a less structured environment
    • A results-driven mindset
    • A Hands on attitude, willing/capable to understand the big picture
    • Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work
    • An MBA/PGDM/CA/CFA from a reputed institute
    • Strong command of written and spoken English
