This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding office in the US.
 
We are looking for an experienced Account Director who will be responsible for developing the strategic relationship, develop strategies to increase sales and collaborate with the partners sales teams to identify and support the sale of Objective solutions through the partnership.
 

What Your Day Will Look Like:

    • Identifying a strong network and develop relevant industry contacts and influencers. 
    • Achieve annual revenue targets for sale of software and professional services. 
    • Retain and grow Upgrade and Support Program (USP) or Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within a set of identified customer accounts. 
    • Develop appropriate pipeline to achieve current and future years quota (s) through personal prospecting and effective marketing programs. 
    • Maximise customer satisfaction and retention. 
    • Manage customer contracts, handling both contract extensions and new contracts.
    • Your consultative selling experience will identify business challenges and create solutions for our customers.
    • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position the portfolio of Objective solutions.
    • Create clear goals and complete accurate forecasting through developing a detailed territory plan.
    • Be a positive brand ambassador for Objective, promoting our company not only to our customers but also to the wider technology landscape.

What Skills Will You Need:

    • Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. 
    • Minimum of 3 years quota-bearing software sales experience, some level of government/public sector experience is preferred.
    • Proven experience in achieving sales targets through channel partnerships
    • Expert in Solution Selling, Strategic Selling or Challenger Selling methodologies. 
    • Demonstrable experience of Influencing both customers and partners at a senior level.
    • Excellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
    • Previous experience working in an IT/software industry environment. 
    • Be able to work autonomously and as an effective part of a team.
