As a Principal SDET, you will you will: Work closely with developers to test and automate the testing of complex systems
Drive the automation strategy, owning the design and implementation of automation framework from scratch
Work with Development and Dev ops teams to optimize engineering efficiency, implement /integrate tools towards the same end
Lead setting up automation infra, including setup of a robust CI/CD pipeline using Docker orchestration for on-demand resource allocation , code instrumentation for coverage reports, along with the other engineer and Dev -ops experts
Help grow a team of high performing SDETs, focussed on equipping the engineering team with the tools for efficient operations
Review automation and unit tests written by peers and team members to ensure coding best practices are followed
Implement test scripts , monitor and increase test coverage on the product
Work with customer success and product teams to replicate post-production release issues.
Besides that, you will attract talent and guide a team of SDETs to gain knowledge of new tools and remove blockers.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject 11+ years of Product testing and Automation experience.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Java)Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and coding best practices
Strong expertise in automation and manual testing of APIs, UI, database, and data pipelines
Prior experience building test automation frameworks from scratch
Must have prior automation experience for Rest based web services using Java
Must have prior experience in creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non -Functional, Analytics, and automation) and test plans for short term and long-term projects both.
Must have strong experience in setting up reporting and monitoring of automation tests, and practice using the data to drive closure of issues.
Knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, CI/CD pipeline is a plus.
Experience of mentoring a high-performance team of SDET/SDET-II
Excellent communication skills, able to work well with multiple stakeholders
Prior experience and exposure to automated tests for the Data pipeline and data science model is a plus.
Have written frameworks for automating test cases at scale.
