Prepare accounting schedules and post monthly journal entries in accordance with the accounting month-end close calendar deadlines
Manage junior team members and perform reviews to ensure timeliness and accuracy of deliverables 
Monitor sales tax compliance
Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842
Assist in preparation of monthly analytics, financial reporting package and audited financial statements
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Enhance and build accounting processes to increase efficiencies and create a strong internal controls environment
Undertake other ad hoc finance projects to enhance operational efficiencies and reporting


    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with CPA or Chartered Accountant certification 
    • Minimum of 4 years of public and/or private accounting experience (preferably working for US Companies)
    • Ability to work alternative working hours based on U.S. eastern standard time zone 
    • Strong grasp of finance and accounting concepts and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
    • Fluent in English and highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to clearly distill and articulate complex concepts, getting to the core of an analysis, conclusion, and recommendation
    • Proficiency in Excel and conducting analyses across multiple data sources and systems 
    • Organized with a strong attention to detail 
    • Thrives in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and comfortable with ambiguity
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to understand key business and market issues driving financial results
    • Preferred:
    • QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Expensify,, and Google Sheets experience
    • Experience in automating manual accounting and finance processes
    • Knowledge of SaaS and relevant industry metrics a plus
