​​We’re an ambitious, fast-paced start-up building a customer centric Electric Vehicle (EV) business. 

We’re expanding our Growth Leadership Team and looking for an outstanding sales leader to run our Consumer sales teams, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer. You will lead our teams of EV Sales Experts who support consumers with choosing the right EV, charger and funding solution. 

Our Team and Proposition 

A large part of what we do today is Salary Sacrifice - in simple terms, Salary Sacrifice is an employee benefit that means you can get an amazing EV and save on tax while you’re at it. The employer leases the car from us and offers the scheme to their team as a perk. 

When an employee of one of our 4,000+ signed up businesses expresses an interest in joining the scheme, this is when our EV Experts step in to support. Establishing a 121 relationship with each potential customer, they guide the employee through all things EV, charging and how Salary Sacrifice works. 

In addition, we are developing our direct to consumer proposition, launching fully later on in the year. Currently in testing, our online first proposition will enable consumers to make the switch to electric in a simple and affordable way. When consumers have a question or need support this is when the EV experts will step in. 

Today there are around 60 EV Sales experts in the team split across 7 direct report team managers. We are expecting this to grow throughout this year and beyond. Our customers include brands such as Nando’s, Co-Op, Dyson, Zoopla, Huel, Innocent Drinks, Pepsico, McLaren Racing and many more.

What you'll do

    • Create and deliver the strategy that ensures we support consumers to make the switch to electric driving in an efficient and scalable way
    • Lead, inspire, nurture and motivate a commercially focused Consumer Sales team - hiring, development, coaching, performance management etc.
    • Drive efficiencies within the team, our customer relationships and propositions that maximise use of technology to ensure simplicity and scalability
    • Work with Product and Tech teams to deliver a scalable digital journey for employees of our customers and direct consumers
    • Work closely with our Vehicle acquisition teams to ensure we have the right vehicles in our stock to support our growth ambitions
    • Combined with our customer proposition team support testing and development of new products along with current proposition iterations
    • Try new things and experiment  - we encourage making mistakes and failures along the way
    • Increase NPS scores and response through strong client relationships
    • Act as a point of escalation when needed for customers
    • Work closely with other leaders across the business and the Senior Leadership team to create a smooth experience across the journey and build a culture that supports customers and our team

What you'll need

    • To be a passionate, energetic and positive leader who has a history of building and leading successful sales teams in a B2C or B2B SME environment.
    • Experience of managing managers in a fast paced sales environment
    • Experience of working in a high performing, high growth sales environment.
    • To be super organised and efficient; a completer-finisher
    • To have a ruthless focus on the customer
    • To be a problem solver who remains calm under pressure
    • To thrive working in start-ups / scale-ups
    • To enjoy creating simple processes, working with product and tech to deliver digital services
    • To be available to be in our Weybridge office for a minimum of two days a week
    • No prior experience of working within EVs or leasing is required
