We're looking for a Senior Talent Partner to join our recruitment team in London. You will work closely with our other recruiters and hiring managers across the Octopus Energy Group - we share ideas and look to continually evolve the way we do things to improve candidate experience and help hiring managers hire amazing people.

This role specifically will focus on hiring in Octopus Energy Services for our Low Carbon Technology teams as we spearhead this revolution. The roles will vary across different types and levels of our Electrician, Solar PV Installers and Smart Meter Engineer teams across the UK. Our new Low Carbon Tech centre is based in Slough where the majority of training will be run out of. You can read more about the centre HERE

You will need to be adaptable and have the ability to hire across other areas of the group if the need arises.

What you'll do

    • This role is focused on attracting, sourcing and progressing candidates through the interview pipelines
    • Build great relationships with stakeholders and candidates, with a view of short and long term hires
    • Constantly provide an amazing candidate experience and look to always improve this across the team
    • Work collaboratively across the wider Octopus Energy Services recruitment team
    • Work very closely and collaboratively with our Chief of Staff and wider OES team
    • Take a consultative approach to recruitment - focusing on speed, quality and diversity
    • Manage reporting on talent pipelines
    • Support our OES team define a clear attraction strategy for the Field Ops team
    • Develop interactive candidate journey analytics and predictive tools
    • Work with the Talent team and wider team on talent attraction campaigns

What you'll need

    • Experience attracting, sourcing or recruiting across high volume roles, in a fast moving business
    • Experience hiring within high volume roles such as Installers, Electricians, Low carbon tech, would be fantastic!
    • Super organisation skills, and an ability to prioritise
    • You love to work with all kinds of people - you’ve got no functional shoulder pads - it’s not ‘my team versus other teams’, it’s ‘we’re all working together to change the energy system globally, and I’ll lend anyone a hand’
    • You'll need to interview candidates, so previous experience screening and assessing candidates across a variety of roles for both hard skills and cultural qualities is needed
    • Strong knowledge of talent reporting
    • Growth recruitment marketing interest and broad analytics skillset would be a nice to to have!
