As Quality Performance Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving the quality of the apprentice experience in our exciting new programme. You'll be passionate about the continuous improvement of IAG, delivery, learning evidence, portfolios, learner reviews, portfolios etc. 

What you'll do

    • Support the design, development, implementation, and management of the Quality Plan and Apprenticeship approach for the designated apprenticeship programmes, ensuring it complies with ESFA funding rules.
    • In partnership with the Apprenticeship Manager, ensure the quality execution of apprenticeships through maximising the learning content, delivering effective IQA activity and maximising the effective use of ePortfolio.
    • Carry out performance management activities to ensure all delivery staff are meeting expectations and working towards actions set in improvement plans so that we are always focussed on delivering quality provision and meeting audit compliance.
    • Drive continuous improvements to the delivery model to reach optimum performance outcomes in terms of completion and EPA achievements. 
    • Ensure effective monitoring and quality assurance of Off-The-Job records to enable a clear picture of current progress towards each apprentice’s training plan.
    • Undertake IQA activities to make ongoing improvement to main apprenticeship delivery and Functional Skills support provided to apprentices.
    • Implement delivery practices that achieve high levels of learner and employer satisfaction. 
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders to ensure that the programme meets both ours and their quality requirements. 
    • Work with the Apprenticeship Manager to support the development of a Self-Assessment Report, and continuous monitoring through the Quality Improvement Plan.
    • Liaise as appropriate with end-point assessment organisations to ensure the effective transition of apprentices through the apprenticeship gateway.
    • Define and manage the OTLA and Standardisation policies and procedures that meet the businesses expectations.

What you'll need

    • Experience with the use of ePortfolio systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework and three-I’s.
    • To be able to gather the required evidence to ensure the business is prepared for an Ofsted inspection.
    • Strong commercial acumen and experience of managing an apprenticeship programme.
    • Sound experience in driving performance whilst delivering key quality indicators across provision.
    • Solid knowledge of meeting the requirements of Regulatory Bodies (ESFA, Ofsted, Awarding Bodies, EPAOs, etc) with experience of leading audit and assurance activity. 
    • To be an effective communicator, relationship builder and influencer at all levels.
    • The ability to navigate the complexities of the apprenticeships industry, able to cut through, simplify and translate for the business.
    • Effective team leadership skills.
    • To be confident and able to work at pace, make things happen within a pragmatic dynamic business. 
    • Passion for great quality, impactful development and talent programmes. 
    • To be innovative and able to use your own initiative. 
    • To have a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (CAVA) or equivalent (desirable).
    • To have Certificate/Diploma in Education & Training (CET/DET), CertEd, PGCE or equivalent (desirable)
    • To have experience with C&G’s Learning Assistant (highly desirable).
