Your position among fellow Vikings:
Oddin is summoning a Viking or a Valkyria to join the raid as a QA Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our complex frontends. You’ll collaborate with a talented team, perform thorough manual testing, and help shape our QA processes as we transition toward automation. What would you work on:
Conduct thorough manual testing of complex frontends, customer-facing, and internal administration tools.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand features, use cases, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Create detailed test plans and design comprehensive test cases for both new functionality and regression testing.
Execute functional, exploratory, usability, and regression testing to ensure the robustness of our products.
Log, track, and manage bugs and issues in a tracking system, such as Jira, to ensure clear and comprehensive reporting.
Manage and organize test cases in a test management tool, we use TestRail, ensuring proper coverage for releases.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming) to contribute to sprint goals with a QA perspective.
Continuously monitor and suggest improvements for testing processes to ensure smooth QA workflows.
Contribute to evaluating and introducing automated testing tools as we move toward automating our test processes.
Skills you will need:
As we look for a medior candidate, we expect 2-5 years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on web applications.
A rough understanding of major e-sport titles (LoL, CS2, Dota 2, Valorant)
Solid understanding of testing methodologies and types (functional, regression, usability, exploratory).
Proficiency with bug tracking and task management, e.g. Jira
Experience with a test management tool, e.g. TestRail**, Qase** for managing and executing test cases.
Strong attention to detail, able to catch even the smallest issues and ensure high product quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, adapting quickly to changes and shifting priorities.
Strong communication skills for working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and QA teams.
A proactive approach to identifying potential issues and contributing to improving QA processes.
