About the role:
Ogury is seeking a highly motivated Supply Data Analyst Intern to help our efforts towards data analysis. The intern will assist in collecting, processing, and analyzing data to support our business decisions and strategic initiatives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and work within a dynamic and innovative tech environment.
What you will do:
- Data Collection and Cleaning: Assist in gathering data from multiple sources, including internal databases, spreadsheets, and third-party data systems. Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Help maintain data quality and support data management activities.
- Data Analysis: Conduct basic statistical analyses and generate reports to identify trends and patterns. Support senior analysts with more complex data analysis tasks. Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Reporting and Visualization: Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Metabase as the main tool. Present analytical findings to team members and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Assist in developing and implementing data collection systems and strategies to optimize data efficiency and quality.
- Learning and Development: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance analytical skills and knowledge.
About you:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools such as Metabase is a plus.
- Basic understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with programming languages such as Python.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Experience with big data tools and technologies.
