Job Overview:
As an early hire, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with our development team to design, implement, and execute automated tests, identify and report bugs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and maintainability of software products.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing infrastructure and tools.
- Document test procedures, results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.
Skills Required:
- 0-2 years of professional experience in backend development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Golang)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
