The Job
Join our Engineering Team, where your role is pivotal in the continual success of Omnidian. In this engaging and dynamic team, you’ll:
Design Scalable Solutions: Help us grow into the future with big data and by expanding our capabilities with scalable backend services.
Create Innovative UX: Help our teams become more efficient by working with software product to enhance productivity and increase our capabilities.
Drive Process Innovations: Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with automated solutions, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Boost Team Morale and Engagement: Ensure equitable engineering support across all business facets, focusing on resolving recurring challenges and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

What You'll Do
- Ensure Technical Excellence: Oversee the reliability, security, extensibility, and accessibility of our systems that process thousands of solar sites across the country.
- Mentor and Lead: Share your knowledge and expertise in frontend development with junior engineers, contributing to the growth and strength of our team.
- Develop and Innovate UI/UX: Work collaboratively with our Software Product, UX Design, and Development teams to enhance internal UIs, focusing on creating intuitive and simplified experiences for our non-technical users.
- Utilize Cutting-Edge Technologies: Employ your expertise in Kotlin, Spring, React, and Services to develop software that will drive our company success into the future.
- Deep Dive into User Experience: Engage directly with domain experts and customers to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and context.
- Collaborate for Business Success: Work closely with business leaders to comprehend and contribute to our innovative business model in the solar industry.
- Deliver Impactful Technology: Be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying technology solutions that support our business objectives, working both independently and as an integral part of our team.

Experience You’ll Need
- 5+ years experience in Software Development
- Strong proficiency in Java, Typescript and React with Redux
- Professional experience in a Cloud-Native Architecture
- History of delivering projects in a Engineering organization
- Experience with Object Oriented and Functional Programming and Experience working with databases
- Familiarity with Monitoring and Instrumentation
- Experience working on a team with code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
Experience That’s a Plus
