Job
The Treasury Manager has overall responsibility for the development, management, and success of the Company’s Treasury function including building and/or enhancing our daily cash forecasting process, treasury wire, and cash and debt reporting processes. The manager will perform day-to-day cash management activities to ensure adequate liquidity for the business while assisting the finance leadership team with aspects of the long-term financial strategy. The Company currently manages approximately 50 active bank accounts across five financial institutions. The role is "hands-on" with no direct reports, reporting directly to the Controller. Qualified candidates will bring deep experience with corporate treasury functions, practices, and procedures as well as drive and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
What You'll Do
- Report and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash position and work with management to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Improve upon existing cash flow forecast model used to manage, monitor and identify daily cash balance.
- Lead the continuous improvement of treasury processes, systems and technologies.
- Track and report on credit line usage, letters of credit, etc. and collaborate with legal and Finance on new financing transactions.
- Act as bank administrator – bank account and user setups and maintenance for the Company with banks.
- Manage wire transfers for the Company shared services and all banking portal administration.
- Collaborate with FP&A on mid-to long-term cash forecast strategy and need based on changing business operations to aid management in evaluating impact on cash levels.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on liquidity, borrowing activity, and covenant compliance, if any.
- Assists in managing and maintaining the company’s banking infrastructure, including bank relationships.
- Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Supply Chain/Procurement teams to manage working capital levels that provide adequate investment levels for the company.
- Review, supervise, and ensure strong internal controls over banking activities and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A to develop an investment policy and invest excess cash per approved policy.
- Manage the Company’s bank account structure: open and close bank accounts as needed, update signatories, maintain banking resolutions, and solve operational treasury problems.
- Analyze bank fees to identify opportunities to lower or eliminate fees where possible.
- Support monthly close and annual audits as the need arises and be responsible for cash related audit request.
- Collaborate with Controller on timing of vendor invoice payments along with process development to drive efficiency.
- Engage with team and colleagues in a manner that reflects the Company’s values of cohesion, dedication, courage, and personal agency.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Assist with other treasury related finance and accounting exercises as requested.
- Support and/or develop administration of corporate purchase card programs.
- Ad hoc treasury related or treasury impacted projects as directed by management.
- Assists with M&A activity for Treasury.
- Partner with Tax, Legal and Accounting teams to execute capitalizations, loans, cash settlements and other treasury operations.
- Contribute to projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with bank and tax equity partner agreements, to include regular collateral reporting when required.
Who You Are
- Capable of demonstrating sound judgment and independent decision-making
- Knowledge of cash management principles and experience with their application
- Experience in managing banking and interpersonal structures and working with banking systems and processes
- Experience working with bank credit agreements and compliance reporting
- Excellent analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles applied in the United States
- Ability to follow management direction; give and take constructive feedback in a positive wayAbility to work with senior management
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills, with ability to articulate clearly
- Ability to drive corrective action and find solutions in a team effort

Experience You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting discipline.
- 7+ years of proven experience in corporate treasury or banking with demonstrated career progression, or an equivalent combination of both.
- MBA and/or CPA preferred but not required.
- Ability to work under pressure and show evidence of creative thinking as well as the ability to handle complex problems in a timely manner.
- Previous supervision or management experience.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and drug screen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
