We are looking for a creative Manager-level Digital Marketing professional who specializes in social media marketing, owned media, SEO/SEM, content production and marketing, and overall storytelling. The ideal candidate will be able to creatively connect the dots between global social issues -- climate change, social inequality, and disaster relief -- and how our platform can help our clients to solve these issues. The ideal candidate also will be able to market a nitty-gritty tech story around machine learning, artificial intelligence, and hazard modelling. The role reports into the Head of Marketing and Communications. 

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the company’s overall digital marketing and influencer strategy and execution;
    • Lead content creation and management across social and owned channels;
    • Work with our Customer Success teams, lead our client testimonial and champions program;
    • Develop and execute an overall social media marketing strategy;
    • Be the pro at advanced digital marketing techniques and be the provocateur that pushes the envelope with creative new ideas on how to engage our audiences;
    • Ensure that our purpose and mission are conveyed in our tone of voice online;
    • Manage internal and external resources, as appropriate.

Key Requirements

    • Mission-driven mindset;
    • 5 - 8 years of marketing experience with a strong preference around digital and content marketing
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, comfortable presenting and delivering training to groups;
    • Strong data visualization and analytical skills: take a data-driven approach to marketing strategies;
    • A desire to stretch beyond digital marketing and learn and experiment across other functional areas;
    • Proficient with the following tools - Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere; Audacity, Adobe Audition or other sound editing software; Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Spark or other photo/image editing software; Animoto, Slide.ly or other social video creation tools; Social Media Management tools: Sprout Social, Crowdfire, CircleBoom etc.; Mailchimp; Standard website content management tools; High proficiency in G Suite tools: Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.
    • A self-proclaimed digital jockey;
