Your Role
- Your key mission will be to drive business decisions by breaking down problem statements, building reliable data pipelines and delivering insights.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the data of their area(s) of focus, building and maintaining data models and dashboards.
- Help steer the business by partnering with your stakeholders to define meaningful KPIs and realistic goals in line with our business objectives.
- Conduct data deep-dives to identify opportunities and challenges, driving product improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement cutting-edge technology and techniques to enhance our data capabilities.
- You will be an ambassador for the Data team, helping the company become more data-driven.
- You champion and promote best practices in data and data governance, advocating for their adoption across the organization.
- You are a team player, eager to work collaboratively, share knowledge and grow together with the rest of the team!
Your Profile
- Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write optimized and maintainable queries based on the underlying data and data warehouse (Redshift).
- Intermediate Python skills, including the ability to do data analysis and strong data visualization abilities.
- Previous experience with machine learning for analytics is preferred.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ideally with experience using dbt.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with git.
- Our current data stack includes Redshift, Meltano, Airflow, dbt, Metabase, and we are onboarding Hex. Exposure to these technologies is advantageous.
