About the team
Orca Security is a cybersecurity startup and cloud innovation leader. Founded in 2019 in Israel by former Check Point managers, it raised $630+ million and became a 'unicorn' in 2021.
Orca is delivering a modern cloud security platform built for engineers who care about visibility, context, and speed. We scan your entire cloud environment – across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and more – giving you deep insights into risks like misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and active threats. Our unified platform shows you what actually matters by prioritizing findings based on context like exposure, privilege, and potential impact.
Cloud teams love Orca because it’s fast to deploy, easy to maintain, and built to scale with the way real infrastructure works.
About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be a critical driver of cross-functional execution at scale. Your role goes beyond traditional project management — you will lead and orchestrate complex technical programs across R&D, Product, Sales, and Customer Success while coaching agile teams, managing delivery pipelines, and maintaining tools like Jira and Confluence.
Your ability to influence without authority, create visibility across initiatives, and resolve friction points will be key to success. You’ll operate at both strategic and tactical levels — from defining KPIs and scalable processes to rolling up your sleeves and getting into the details to ensure projects move forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Program Success: Plan, execute, and monitor complex technical programs end-to-end. Own schedules, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead and Motivate Agile Teams: Guide engineering and product squads through agile best practices. Facilitate planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the glue between R&D, Product Management, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success. Anticipate needs, surface blockers, and ensure clear ownership and accountability.
- Tool Ownership & Administration: Act as the Jira and Confluence admin, build workflows, dashboards, filters, and automation to support scaling needs.
- Process Builder: Define and improve process inside RnD, in between RnD, product and sales.
- Insights & Analytics: Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure team velocity, quality, and delivery performance. Translate data into actionable insights.
- Get Into the Details: You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, whether it’s setting up Jira workflows, cleaning up project plans, or jumping into reporting. You do what it takes to move things forward.
