We are seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager to join our team and help us achieve this goal. You will get to have a real impact in the financial industry by making key contributions to how we create messaging around OpenBB Terminal Pro - an advanced investment research application built on top of our open-source platform. This role will be responsible for leading a team of 1 marketer and 1 designer, and will collaborate closely with the CEO.

About the job:

As a Product Marketing Manager at OpenBB, you will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive the success of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and marketing, to ensure our products are effectively positioned, promoted, and supported in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy: Collaborate with product development teams to understand product roadmaps and develop marketing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
Market Research: Conduct thorough and continuous market research to identify and characterize target customer segments, market trends, and the constantly changing competitive landscape.
Product Positioning: Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that highlights the unique value and benefits of our products to different customer segments.
Go-to-Market Planning: Create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, including defining target audiences, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
Content Development: Generate high-quality marketing content, including product collateral, sales enablement materials, and website content, to support product launches and ongoing marketing efforts.
Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools and training to effectively communicate product value propositions and benefits to customers.
Campaign Management: Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, demand generation, and lead generation.
Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data and metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
Customer Advocacy: Work closely with customers to gather testimonials, case studies, and success stories that showcase the real-world impact of our products.


- Proficiency in English.
- Proven experience in product marketing within the financial industry.
- Experience with investment research tools is mandatory (Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Refinitiv, TradingView, Koyfin, etc).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, analytics, email marketing).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Creative thinking and a passion for innovative marketing solutions.
- A track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
