About the job:

As a Product Marketing Manager at OpenBB, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the positioning, messaging, and launch strategy of our products. You will work closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to drive product adoption and ensure market success.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be anchored in three primary pillars:

1. Positioning & Messaging
- Conduct market research to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
- Own and drive the positioning and messaging of our products internally and externally, which should highlight the unique value and benefits of our products to the targeted customer segments.
- Collaborate across different departments to ensure consistency that product design, messaging, and communication are in harmony with our intended positioning.

2. Go-To-Market Planning & Execution
- Design and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies on how we can reach our target customers, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.
- Lead product launches, outlining specific steps and timelines for bringing the products to market. This includes coordinating product development, marketing, sales, and support activities for a successful launch.
- Supervise the generation of high-quality marketing content, including product collateral, sales enablement materials, website content, and product videos to support product launches and ongoing marketing efforts.

3. Marketing & Sales Enablement
- Work closely with customers to gather testimonials, case studies, and success stories that showcase the real-world impact of our products.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns with our data & technology partners and other companies to launch co-marketing campaigns
- Set performance goals and objectives for all marketing campaigns and activities. Work with our marketing team on strategy, planning, and execution of all product marketing activities to achieve the defined outcomes.
- Lead the creation of marketing materials, including sales enablement collaterals, website content, and product videos that effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data and metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing strategies.

- Proficiency in English.
- Proven experience in product marketing within the financial industry.
Experience with investment research tools is a big plus (Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet, Refinitiv, TradingView, Koyfin, etc)
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, analytics, email marketing).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Creative thinking and a passion for innovative marketing solutions.
- A track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
