Opencare is preparing to launch exciting new product lines and you will be the lynchpin tying together all stakeholders and clients to make this initiative a reality.

There are no bounds to this role, from meeting with customers and vendors, identifying and researching new opportunities, and helping us manage acquisitions and product launches. You will partner closely with the CEO and Strategy Lead to ensure we’re looking ahead and spotting hurdles and paying attention to the little details to delight our customers.

This is a lean, fast moving team focused on learning by doing, and always innovating - think of  the Emerging Products team as a “startup within a startup!”

What business problem are you solving? Build the operational tools and systems to launch brand new product lines across North America!

This is going to be a challenging, but exciting, opportunity to shape our launch process and strategy. Here are some of the key projects you will be responsible for...

Marketing Strategy: Conducting competitor research around branding and pricing to gather data points and then working with an external agency to create marketing and sales materials (eg. brochures, booth for conference, updating website etc.)

Marketing Execution: You will be instrumental in representing Opencare at conferences and really helping to get the word out, and then updating marketing materials as needed based on learnings. You will also be partnering with a remote resource to manage marketing on online channels such as Dentaltown.

Customer On-boarding: Developing materials (PDF guides, videos, and scripts) to simplify and standardize the on-boarding process, develop answers to FAQs, schedule and run on-boarding calls with customers across North America.

Data Collection: Identify the key data we need to be collecting and design and execute a strategy to collect it in a scalable and reliable way. You may need to partner with external  agencies or development resources to make this a reality.

Customer Success: You’re going to be the ongoing support, training, and point of contact for customers to handle all of their issues and ensure they are ultimately getting the most out of the Opencare products.

Product Strategy Research: Help the Emerging Products team research the landscape including doing competitive research of features, pricing, and market share of players within our space.

What will you work on and learn...

    • Own customer success and marketing for a new product line and will help select and manage critical vendors to help with other processes like invoicing and payment, graphic design, data analytics, and financial reporting.
    • Work closely with the account executive to measure pipeline conversion and strategize to help grow the business.
    • Own product feedback and responsible for communicating it to the rest of the team to inform the product vision.
    • You will help hire key team members and scope out meaningful roles.
    • Understand, define, and track performance metrics and use these to inform our decision making across the Emerging Products team.
    • You will be given the resources and opportunity to develop into a leader on the Emerging Products team.

What you can bring to the team…

    • Experience in management consulting, finance, start up, or operations roles where you are used to doing whatever it takes to launch a new product.
    • Creative problem solving comes naturally to you, you’re never happier than when you have a weird and wonderful problem with no clear answer in front of you that you really have to work at to solve.
    • Capable at navigating ambiguity by evaluating options and making well-informed, data driven, decisions.
    • Eyes-on-the-prize mentality is key; there is going to be a lot going on around you and it’s important to keep focused on the most important challenges.
    • Organisational and project management skills are vital to ensure nothing gets forgotten or left behind during the launch.
    • Self-driven learners are going to thrive as there will be much ambiguity to be navigated that requires research and thoughtful decision making.
    • Invigorated by regular travel across North America to meet decision makers and customers.
