Job Summary:

The Accounting Operations Specialist will support global accounting operations across multiple functions. This individual will be diligent, detail-oriented, and will handle day-to-day accounting activities and GL reconciliations in support of our corporate accounting team. The individual will also manage order processing in support of our billing and revenue teams.


    • Prepare various reconciliations for month end close in support of the global corporate accounting team 
    • Maintain fixed asset registers, PO logs, prepaid register and various other accounting-related ledgers
    • Perform order validation for customer contracts to ensure the order and system are aligned
    • Ensure that customer contracts comply with revenue recognition standards and internal controls
    • Generate timely and accurate invoices for customers once order is fully processed
    • Coordinate with sales operations, revenue and customer success teams to resolve order or billing issues

Requirements and Preferred Experience:

    • BA/BCom degree in accounting, finance or similar field preferred
    • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or billing-focused role
    • Prior experience with a multinational company required
    • Prior experience using Netsuite Accounting software
    • Strong account reconciliation skills
    • Good communication and customer support skills
    • Must be located near Pune, India metropolitan area
