The People Operations Manager will support the daily functions of a global People Team. The Operations Manager will focus on process improvement with a focus on the employee experience and success.
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks required to administer people programs including but not limited to compensation, leaves of absence, and compliance training
- Partners with internal People teams - Payroll, Benefits, and Talent, to resolve manager and employee questions within defined timelines
- Supports cyclical processes including compensation planning projects, compensation surveys, employee surveys, required federal and state reporting
- Gathers data and prepares cyclical and ad-hoc HR reports, scorecards/dashboards, and analyses on key HR metrics utilizing Google/MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, or other data analytics/visualization tools
- Assists in the development and implementation of employment policies, and updating of policies and procedures as required by local regulations and best practices
- Monitors legal compliance with state specific employment regulations and standards
- Maintains accurate record keeping standards, adhering to local, state and country requirements
- Develops custom reports as needed by Business or People Partners
- Support immigration matters throughout the visa process and provides guidance to managers and employees as needed
- Supports processes and systems to enhance the compliance and accuracy of employment practices and data
- Supports internal and external audits providing required data within defined timelines
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as an HR professional
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a generalist role
- Minimum of 5 years experience with ADP Workforce Now
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Proactive and takes initiative in seeing tasks to completion
- Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

$88,200 - $115,000 a year

OpenX is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For applicants in New York, New Jersey, California, and Colorado, the base salary range is $88,200-115,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states.
