Project:
Our Ad Exchange handles billions of requests every day globally, and in daily peak traffic, several million requests per second. The processing time for each of these requests is in milliseconds. By participating in an OpenX internship you will have the opportunity to work with the following components from the extensive system architecture:- Java-based central exchange unit running billions of Ad auctions daily- GoLang-based global front component handling more than 250 billion incoming Ad requests daily and uses advanced AI models at scale

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of features of high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems that allow our customers to grow and manage their lists of contacts
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code with full automation
- Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the codebase by being an active participant in code reviews
- Maintain the health of the codebase through appropriate refactoring and improvement of existing functionality
- Ideally, we are expecting you to be available full-time (40 h per week) during the internship
Requirements
- Working towards a B.S/M.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline
- Ability to learn and navigate preexisting code
- Communicative Polish and English languages
Nice to have
- Experience with one of following programming language (Java, GoLang) and high motivation to learn new ones
- Experience in Google Cloud Platform, docker
- User level knowledge of (linux/unix) systems
- Basic networking (http, tcp)
Our offering
- Internship Duration: July 1st - September 30th - we are flexible depending on our mutual arrangements
- You will be part of a Data Science engineering team and you will be working with the assigned engineers on different projects

- You will work with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloudbuild
- This is paid internship 4 000 PLN / month for full-time availability
