Ophelia helps people end their opioid use and restore their quality of life with respect for their time and dignity. Our Mission is to make evidence-based treatments for opioid use disorder accessible to everyone... and we're looking to bring more people onto our team to help us achieve it.

Join us, save lives, and help fix healthcare for those who need it most.

The Role

We are looking for highly motivated and proactive Senior Designer who will play a key role in reimagining how we experience and talk about opioid use disorder (OUD). You will have an incredibly strong design eye and impeccable attention to detail. Since we’re a small but mighty team, you’ll have the opportunity to work between bold brand campaigns, performance driven advertising and sophisticated B2B efforts.

The ideal candidate understands the complexity and sensitivities of the behavior change we are trying to make and can design within the seriousness of the mission while infusing personality and warmth. You have the ability to think both critically and strategically, with an awareness of current and historical trends in art, design, and advertising. You are familiar with fast-paced environments and performance driven creativity. This role will be remote and report directly to the VP, Marketing.

Outcomes:

    • Concept, iterate, and create design and content (illustration, motion graphics, etc) solutions that will live in websites, brand campaigns, social media, videos, events, and more.
    • Collaborate within cross functional teams to understand campaign objectives and target audiences.
    • Adhere to, and evolve, brand identity standard, improving based on new learnings and business changes.
    • Engage with the latest design and social media trends, design techniques, emerging technologies (AI), and industry best practices to improve the effectiveness of creative deliverables.

About You

    • 5+ years of experience executing design systems across offline and online channels
    • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of brand and visual identity design. Can work within dark, grittier aesthetics.
    • Skilled with Figma, AfterEffects/Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and Webflow, and have a strong working knowledge of advertising fundamentals and a passion for learning about new platforms and technologies
    • An innate ability to create remarkable executions by leveraging marketing goals, data, user feedback and research
    • Low ego and flexible mindset. Open to critical feedback.
    • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • High growth D2C and/or health-focused company background a plus

Our Benefits Include:

    • Remote work anywhere in the United States
    • Competitive medical, vision, and health insurance (many plans are fully covered for the employee!)
    • 20 days of PTO per year
    • 10 company holidays
    • $1,000 Work From Home Stipend
    • 401k Contribution Platform
    • Additional benefits offered through our benefits provider such as life insurance, short and long term disability, financial wellness, virtual primary care, among others!
$100,000 - $110,000 a year
Ophelia Compensation Philosophy:

We set compensation based on the level and skills required for the role. We value pay transparency and equity, and are committed to fair pay. In order to prevent pay disparities and reduce time spent in negotiations, we take a “first and best” offer approach: this means we’re not holding any compensation back from our candidates, and you can feel confident that our pay is fair and does not vary based on the strength of someone’s negotiation skills.

Compensation is dynamic at Ophelia: as long as the company performs well and meets our targets, there will be opportunities for increased compensation annually. We’re happy to discuss this approach and our bands if you have questions during the interview process.
