We are Opus Major, and our mission is to make the world Jam Together. We believe games and music can amplify social bounds. Our first Opus is the child of these two social amplifiers.
After a successful fundraising in 2024 with one of the largest video games investors in the world, Opus Major already gathers an amazing team of 25 people around the world.
You have the opportunity to Join our Gameplay and Design team to work at an exciting moment of our first Opus, a cross-platform large scale multiplayer game based on a strong universe where music is the magic of the world.
We are looking for profiles that love to bring gameplay ideas to life and excel at fast prototyping.
Technically : you will contribute to the client side of the game hand in hand with our online team. Your mission is to craft short, highly replayable gameplay moments that our players will love in our game. You love challenges, craft features quickly, you are open-minded and team-oriented, and are ready to engage in an ambitious project.

What We’re Looking For

    • Experience: 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

    • Core Skills:
    • Strong experience with Kubernetes in production.
      Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
      Experience with MongoDB (Atlas)
      Expertise in monitoring, alerting, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
      Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
      Coding skills in Golang.

    • Mindset:

      Strong communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams.
      Passion for automation and operational excellence.

Bonus Points For

    • Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps practices.
    • Familiarity with PowerShell for automation and tooling.
    • Familiarity with Kustomize for Kubernetes configuration management.
    • Previous experience in the gaming industry or operating large-scale multiplayer services.
