Support Technician - Korea

We are searching for a Support Technician in South Korea to work onsite alongside our customer during their operational hours. You will provide immediate support for the OSARO system so there is limited production down time. You will collaborate with Support and Engineering teams to learn our product so that you are able to solve all manner of problems that might arise. This is a full time position.

What you'll be doing

    • Work on site at our customer facility to support our customer during their operational shifts. 
    • Troubleshooting errors with the OSARO system on site to reduce customer downtime.
    • Documenting the errors for the Engineering teams and escalating issues as needed.
    • Providing any needed customer training.
    • Provide feedback on our support and training processes.
    • Successfully hand off system operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to customers.
    • Build relationships with customers so they feel comfortable with OSARO and the  product.
    • Passing along feedback from the customer to the Support and Engineering  teams.

Experience and Skills You'll Need

    • Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot in front of customers.
    • Proven track record of learning and working with technical systems. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and a knack for transitioning between technical and non-technical conversations. 
    • Passion for problem solving and a love of tinkering with mechanical or electrical systems to discover how they work. 
    • Speak Korean and English.  

Bonus if you have

    • Have experience working with automation in warehouse environments.
    • Have experience working in technical support or working knowledge of robotic systems.
    • Knowledge of Linux. 
    • Experience operating industrial robotic arms, grippers, PLC, and sensors including cameras, force sensors. 
    • BS in an Engineering field or equivalent experience.
