The Role
Do you enjoy working on distributed systems, search technologies, data pipelines? Come help us build the best search experience for Outreach users.
You will re-envision our search experience for a multi-tenant environment at massive scale, while keeping a high quality bar for customer experience. You will be part of a team that makes this possible by creating Search experience for the entire Outreach ecosystem. You will be solving complex technical challenges on a very large scale every day.
About the Team
Our goal is to deliver a scalable search platform that gives our customers simple and intuitive query access to the data they need. We build search services that can be used by other parts of the system, analytics that provide overview of what data is being accessed, and more. We do all of this at a massive scale.
Location
While we are remote-friendly, we remain an "office-centric" company. This role is categorized as hybrid and it is expected you live in a reasonable proximity to the office in Prague so you would be able to connect with your team on weekly regular basis, attend in-person meetings and company events.
This is a full-time, permanent role, not eligible for contractors and for work from other countries.
Our Vision of You
- 8+ years of hands-on coding and software design experience building robust and scalable software
- Experience and passion for distributed systems and data intensive applications
- Solid software design skills
- Deep interest in learning new technologies and finding the right tool for the job
- A track record of projects completed on time – you find satisfaction in a job well done and want to solve head-scratching challenges
- Experience with at least some of our technical stack: Ruby on Rails, ElasticSearch, Golang, MySQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Node.js

Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with ElasticSearch or other search focused technology
- Proficiency in working with services written in Golang
