About the Team
Our Account Executive, SMB New Logo team is responsible for managing the deal cycles from prospecting through to close for our new customers in our SMB space. Our team works closely with the Sales Development Representatives and Solution Consultants assigned to our territory. Our team enjoys learning new sales trends & methodologies, going to industry events, subscribing to blogs/podcasts, reading books, and researching case studies so we can grow together. Our team works closely together to champion our customers, share success stories, and in our daily team huddles we celebrate our wins and share goals.

The Role
As an Account Executive on the SMB New Logo team, you will be responsible for selling into net new customers with up to 500 employees. You will be the primary contact and have the responsibilities of demoing Outreach's platform, providing technical assistance, successfully navigating a proof of concept, and negotiating contracts. As an Account Executive, you will be accountable for developing a plan that will lead to hitting your territory goal, with the full assistance of the company to make you successful.

Location
This role will be located in Atlanta, following a hybrid work model. The team will be in office 2-3 days a week. (Atlanta office - 1055 Howell Mill Rd, 10th Floor, Atlanta, GA 30318)

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

    • Build and manage territory and account plans to prioritize and align engagement of customers - engage at the right time with the right messaging
    • Own full sales cycles from discovery through to close, including negotiating contracts
    • Execute the Outreach sales methodology and process with excellence on behalf of serving customers’ needs
    • Deliver customized discovery calls, product demos, pricing conversations and any other calls to ensure an effective buyer journey from discovery to close
    • Proactively orchestrates deals with Sales Development Representatives and Solutions Consultants
    • Educate prospective customers on the value of the Outreach platform

Our Vision of You

    • 1-3 years or more of sales experience, with 1+ of those years in a closing role preferably in a SaS environment for a multi-product company
    • Full sales cycle experience with an emphasis on prospecting and pipeline generating
    • Proven success closing net new logos with a consistent track record of hitting goals
    • Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
    • Demonstrates awareness of strengths and opportunities for growth
    • Experience leveraging Salesforce.com
Compensation for this role is comprised of a base salary and a variable component, ranging between $135,000-$190,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
