Role Overview:
Outreach is looking for a Director of Content Marketing to help develop and drive a best-in-class full-funnel content acquisition strategy. This role will be a key leader within Outreach's Growth Marketing team, responsible for delivering content programs that grow our reach and convert readers into prospective customers.

Our ideal candidate has a record of accomplishment of delivering revenue and content-led growth goals and is committed to developing a high-performing team of content creators and SEO strategists.

Location: Remote within the US

Your Daily Adventures will Include:

    • Develop and deliver a differentiated content marketing strategy that supports Outreach’s business objectives, with SEO best practices at its core.
    • Actively mentor and manage a team of content marketers, as well as oversee outside agencies.
    • Measure content performance and identify optimization opportunities aligned to growth marketing goals.
    • Build a content calendar that encompasses both production and distribution strategies, ensuring an organized and efficient publishing process.
    • Regularly and transparently communicate the impact of your team’s work across all levels of the organization.
    • Experiment, try new ideas, and determine the best ways to help us hit our traffic and conversion goals.

Our Vision of You:

    • You know how to optimize revenue impact. You’ve built content growth models to gauge the varying impact of topics/initiatives on traffic and lead capture, through downstream revenue generation.
    • You understand SEO fundamentals. We don’t expect you to be the in-house expert, but you can apply keyword research into content planning and ensure your team follows on-page best practices.
    • You’re a growth marketer. You have a record of accomplishment of delivering organic growth goals (traffic, acquisition, etc.). You use data to communicate the value of your work. If you see yourself as more of a brand marketer, this is not the role for you.
    • You’re comfortable digging into data. If the analysis does not exist, you can create your own reports or collaborate with BI and Operations colleagues to surface key insights.
    • At least 7 years of experience in content marketing, including leading content production and distribution. Preferably in B2B or PLG SaaS.
    • A proven ability to deliver growth goals (e.g. inbound acquisition) and measure content performance related to organic traffic and website conversion.
    • Growth marketing mindset with a deep understanding of key content marketing frameworks, marketing tactics, and the B2B marketing funnel.
    • A startup mentality and comfort in navigating ambiguity.
    • Experience overseeing a team and balancing long-term investments with iterative experimentation and learning
The base salary range for this role is $117,000 - $155,000 You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
