About The Role
As a Project Manager on the Professional Services team at Outreach, you will lead the end-to-end execution of customer onboarding projects—ensuring they are seamless, timely, and exceed expectations.
You will serve as the primary point of contact, managing planning, resource coordination, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, communication, and budgets. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive high-impact, on-schedule delivery.
This is a critical, results-driven role at the intersection of customer success and operational excellence in a fast-growing organization.
Location: Remote (East/Central region), reporting to the Practice Manager, PMO.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- Leverage deep expertise in the SaaS ecosystem, with a strong focus on sales engagement platforms such as Outreach, to guide customers through successful onboarding and adoption
- Familiarity with AI powered tools or agents, with the ability to integrate them into implementation projects to boost efficiency and innovation
- Translate AI capabilities into business value through cross-functional collaboration
- Lead complex enterprise and commercial implementations from sales handoff through go-live and transition to Customer Success, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Define and manage project scope, timelines, success metrics, and resources using established methodologies.
- Identify critical path activities and risks to incorporate mitigation strategies across the project scope
- Act as the primary customer contact, ensuring transparency, alignment, and a strong experience
- Provide functional insights to assess financial and operational impacts.
- Share customer feedback with Product and Support to influence roadmap and improvements
- Help evolve Professional Services methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Our Vision Of You
- Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project management role, preferably in the SaaS space
- Experience working in a project lead role including aligning cross functional members & customer teams
- Proficient in a range of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models
- Proven record of ensuring customer satisfaction through onboarding excellence including inspiring, educating/training, driving adoption, managing stakeholders, and influencing the customer
- Experience building trust and developing client relationships both in person and remote
- History of improving processes, methodologies, programs or frameworks that increased team or customer performance
- Proven self-starter and able to come up to speed on complex, difficult concepts with minimal assistance
- Ability to understand deep technical aspects of a product and educate others using simplified explanations
- Skilled in transforming customer vision into actual results within the product
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor, especially in escalated circumstances
- Ability to lead through influence
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Executive communications and high level strategic debriefs
- Experience with PM/PSA tools such as Smartsheet, Asana & Rocketlane
- Experience with SaaS applications, custom development, and consulting
$85,500 - $139,500 a year
The base salary range for this role is $85,500-$139,500. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
