The company provides services to government, education, commercial, business, and corporate clients throughout NSW. They are licensed by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) and have endorsements for structured data cabling, underground cabling, aerial cabling, optical fibre, and security.
Job Responsibilities:
- Bluebeam: Experience in creating shop drawings and as-builts.
- Lighting Calculations: Proficiency in performing lighting calculations.
- Revit and AutoCAD: Experience in using Revit and AutoCAD for creating as-builts.
- Shop Drawings: Producing shop drawings including power and data layout, cable pathways, lighting layout, and data sheets for all proposed materials.
- Project Handover Documents: Producing comprehensive handover documents upon project completion.
- Tender Take-Offs: Accurately performing take-offs from tenders.
- Cable Pathway Design: Ability to design efficient cable pathways.
Key Skills Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong resource management skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in network connectivity, with experience in copper, fibre optic, CCTV, and wireless access point installations.
- Telecommunications trade expertise; electrical experience is not essential but may be an advantage.
- Experience in data centre environments and structured cabling systems.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in cost estimating.
- Proficient in using Simpro.
- Experience in using CAD software.
