The Opportunity

Passionate. Tech Savvy. Social Media Expert. We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Lead to join our dynamic and high-performing team. Our People and Culture team is responsible for helping to find, grow, retain and engage the talent of Overbond team. You'll be a champion of Overbond’s culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to build organizational functions, human capital processes and ensure all people decisions are based on data.

In this hybrid role, People and Culture Lead will focus on end-to-end HR processes. The successful individual will have experience in end-to-end HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, policies and procedures, reviews, benefits, expenses, training and manual creation, talent developement and retention programs, social and culture building processes. People and Culture Lead is passionate about employer corporate story, is a talented writer (strong spelling, grammar skills). You are also highly creative and will support in the design of, and be responsible for the execution of Overbond’s employer branding initiatives, working collaboratively with various internal stakeholders, hiring managers and talent aquisiton teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Talent Retention
    • Run the end-to-end HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, benefits registration, expenses reports, policies and procedures, reviews, training and manual creation, talent developement and retention programs, social and culture building processes.
    • Run new hire onboarding including day one orientation and ongoing check-ins with new hires.
    • Create and Manage applicable onboarding materials and coordinate with talend acquisition manager.
    • Communicate and educate employees on HR policies and programs encompassing all aspects of HR management, including employment guidelines and procedures, employee engagement, and employee development.
    • Conduct exit interviews and ensure exit process is completed.
    • Process HR documentation and requests including offer letters, onboarding documents, contractual agreements, employment confirmation letters, employment verifications etc.
    • Support the performance management process, including facilitating employee reviews and tracking employee performance.
    • Identify opportunities to promote the employer brand and build a pipeline for future opportunities.
    • Manage quarterly co-op program from start to finish, including developing relationships with various schools and program administrators.
    • Use and request data strategically -- Identify and surface trends in both qualitative and quantitative data to help improve organizational health, understand when data will assist in making smart, informed decisions. Interpret complex analyses and tie back to business priorities.

    • Employer Branding
    • Ideate innovative employer brand strategies, collaborate with internal stakeholders for creative support.
    • Research and create relevant digital, social and mobile content: landing pages, blogs, emails and/or digital content including photo and video.
    • Act as the social media brand expert and employer brand ambassador, create, post and track content on relevant social media websites - including but not limited to Glassdoor, Linkedin, Youtube and company careers pages.
    • Manage the employer brand through effective social media, including Glassdoor, LinkedIn, YouTube and employer career pages. Look for innovative ways to promote Overbond.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    • Desired Skills, Education & Experience
    • Undergraduate Degree or Diploma preferably in Business Management, Human Resources or related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role, preferably in the software development or technology industry.
    • Familiarity and comfort with recruiting in a technical environment and high volume roles.  
    • 2+ years experience in digital, content, marketing and/or employer branding.
    • A combination of HR experience in the following areas: Organizational design, performance management, diversity and inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, and employee relations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and proven relationship management skills.
    • Detail oriented: takes ownership for the accuracy and completeness of tasks.
    • Strong influencing and coaching skills, and the ability to challenge where appropriate.
    • Ability to proactively balance a varied workload, deal with conflicting priorities and demonstrate flexibility where required.
    • Strong at issue identification, root cause analysis, and resolution.
    • Strong proficiency in HR Systems, Humi as well as MS Office, Power Point and Google Docs
