What’s in store for you:
You’ll be solving complex challenges and maintaining our own infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic. Here are its scale and maturity in numbers:

- 6PB+ Ceph storage
- 60PB+ monthly data traffic through our systems
- 300k+ service requests/sec processed
- 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

In this role, you’ll get to work with high-load APIs and systems that run on hundreds of servers and process hundreds of thousands of requests per second. Scalability is part of the daily challenge, and you’ll be hands-on with big data and a modern tech stack (latest PHP, frameworks, databases, and more). Our environment is fully containerized, with Kubernetes running in production for over 7 years. You’ll also have the freedom to shape practices, introduce new standards, and drive innovation across the team.

Your day-to-day:

    • Develop a system and solutions that could be easily scalable;
    • Write clean, tested, documented code that delivers real business value;
    • Own the entire development cycle—from research and prototyping to deployment;
    • Deliver and review technical design, code, and documentation;
    • Contribute to technical decision-making in an early-stage, fast-growing project;
    • Create, review and maintain multiple microservices in order to optimize them for best performance and stability.

Your experience & skills:

    • Have deep knowledge in PHP (preferably Symfony framework, other frameworks - nice to have);
    • Have some experience or interested in Golang, NodeJS or similar languages;
    • Know how SQL and NoSQL databases work and how to write optimized queries and debug them if needed;
    • Know why automated tests can save the world;
    • Real-time data processing and event streaming is something you already know or it seems to be an interesting field to you;
    • Be passionate about technology and interested in constantly trying something new;
    • Have some experience with any of the following technologies we extensively use in our stack: Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Kafka, MySQL clusters, Gitlab CI, Redis.

    • Nice to have:
    • Any experience with DevOps practices (deployment pipelines, automation, etc.);
    • Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e. g. TypeScript, React, etc.).

Salary:

    • Gross salary: 4500 - 7000 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
