What we are looking for:

At PackageX, we know that the key to growth is in a high-performing sales team. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified business development representative (BDR) to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with enterprise prospects, ideal BDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching key target companies, starting new relationships, partnering with enterprise sales executives, and setting them up for success.

You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Each one of the key targets we pursue are strategically selected and presents an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Ideally, this individual will be based in NYC coming to our NY HQ on a hybrid schedule. However, we are open to fully remote individuals as well.

About the role:

· Find companies that match our criteria as being potential customers.
· Determine relevant contacts at those companies for us to reach out to.
· Run initial qualification calls.
· Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to customer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
· Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing prospects and finding new potential sales outlets.
· Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.
· Identify best practices and work with marketing to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
· Utilize HubSpot, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
· Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
· Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
· Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
· Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
· Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

We are looking for someone who has:

· High interest in the logistics and SaaS industry.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Excellent writing ability
· Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
· Strong communication skills via phone, video, and email.
· Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
· Excitement and strong desire and ability to move up within the sales organization and build a career in sales.
· Proficiency with HubSpot or other CRM software.
· Experience with Zoominfo.
· Prior experience as a SDR or BDR with a track record of achieving sales targets.

The compensation range for this role is:

In addition to other forms of compensation like perks, benefits, and stock options, the salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $95,000 USD per year On Target Earnings (OTE). The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skillset, experience, and geographic location.
