A World-Changing Company

Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.

The Role

You’ll work alongside a full-time team solving a variety of technical problems - contributing to Palantir products and customer outcomes. In this role, the challenges you'll seek will require a curious and analytical approach, a sharp intuition for product, and a strong degree of user insight to ultimately empower our customers to improve decisions.

Our customers come to us with a hunch that the only way to protect their troops, manufacture high-quality products, structure effective healthcare policies, or deliver aid to refugees safely is to make better use of AI. You’ll contribute to turning that hunch into reality. You may also be deployed to Palantir internal teams and problems. You will be matched to roles based on your skills, interests, and experience.

What We Value

    • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of individuals, including engineers, users and non-technical team members
    • Willingness to learn proactively, make decisions independently, and ask questions when stuck
    • Comfortable working in a constantly evolving environment with dynamic objectives and iterations
    • Experience working on technical projects and interest in using large scale data to solve valuable business problems
    • Commitment to democratic values, ability to engage constructively on difficult issues, and desire to uphold Palantir’s mission of supporting the institutions underpinning western & allied nations

What We Require

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited university
    • Engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, and Physics
    • Taking the full fall 2024 semester off (3-4 months) to work at Palantir. Candidates cannot be enrolled in university classes.

In keeping consistent with Palantir’s values and culture, we believe employees are “better together” and in-person work affords the opportunity for more creative outcomes. Therefore, we encourage employees to work from our offices to foster connectivity and innovation. Many teams do offer hybrid options (WFH a day or two a week), allowing our employees to strike the right trade-off for their personal productivity. Based on business need, there are a few roles that allow for “Remote” work on an exceptional basis. If you are applying for one of these roles, you must work from the state in which you are employed. If the posting is specified as Onsite, you are required to work from an office.
