The Role

As a Capture and Proposal Strategist you are a critical driver of Palantir’s U.S. Government business growth. Through collaborating with business development and technical execution stakeholders, you will help expand Palantir’s footprint in the Civil and Health space by supporting customer acquisition strategies and writing compelling proposals to win contracts. Curious, critically-minded, and detail-oriented, you are an exceptional writer and strong project manager capable of turning complex technical concepts into persuasive proposals, white papers, project vision statements, and other business documents. You will write technical and non-technical explanations of our software's capabilities, contextualize our technology against customer-specific use cases, track active opportunities for updates, and manage formal proposals to win new business.

Core Responsibilities

    • Serve as a primary author and project manager of Market Survey, Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to match our solutions against customer needs and refine content.
    • Shape strategy for winning business on priority accounts; and iterate on written products for contracting officers, proposal evaluators, customer leadership, and other audiences.
    • Leverage deep expertise in Palantir’s software capabilities to describe how Palantir can support the critical mission needs of existing and potential Civil & Health customers.
    • Learn complex technical information and become comfortable in clearly communicating it to both technical and non- technical audiences.

What We Value

    • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts, proactively learn with minimal instruction, and think creatively to apply existing technology to bespoke use cases.
    • Ability to navigate and adapt to an unstructured environment.
    • Demonstrated project management skills and collaboration experience including with a team on a joint output, across departments / agencies / roles, and leading projects that require input from multiple stakeholders.
    • An active security clearance (or ability and willingness to obtain one) at Secret level or higher is an asset, but not required.

What We Require

    • 4+ years experience in a role requiring writing and project management.
    • Ability to translate technical concepts and differentiators through concise and compelling written communication.
Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $95,000 - $147,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
