Join our team in this diverse role, assisting with repairs and maintenance, operating machinery, fencing and general farm work.
 
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic working environment, which will utilise their wide range of tractor, fencing and general maintenance skills to join our Central Farming Services team.

This role has a lot of variety from fencing, to driving a tractor to pasture topping to feeding out, general maintenance and more.

About You
We’re looking for a practically minded ‘doer’ who is resourceful and open to doing a range of tasks within a farm setting. You don’t necessarily need to have a farming background however any farming, building, machinery operator or fencing experience will be an advantage. 

You will have:
·         Proven experience in fencing and general maintenance
·         Proven experience in cultivating and driving tractors
·         Understanding and interest in variety of general farm work
·         Effective communication skills
·         A ‘can do’ and ‘team orientated’ attitude
·         Ability to work alone and self manage
·         Good time management skills
·         Commitment to high standards of quality and safety
·         Current clean full NZ driver’s licence (extra licences would be beneficial)
 
About Us
Our Central Farm Services Workshop, based between Reporoa and Taupō, services and repairs farm vehicles and equipment on internal Pāmu farms and external farming operations and agricultural businesses. We have a fantastic team of 14 staff made up of Mechanics, Engineers and Machinery Operators.
