Exciting opportunity for a Fencer General to work on our high-country station in a small and supportive team.
 
The Opportunity
You will be carrying out new and repair fencing requirements, general farm maintenance work, water maintenance, looking after power fencing and helping out in the yards, as required.
 
The Farm
Tutamoe Station is a 1,966 effective ha property located 50 km inland and approximately 40 minutes from Tolaga Bay. This sheep and beef property runs 20,000 su including 10,000 ewes, 3250 hoggets and 850 mixed age cows.
 
Tutamoe is an extensive, high performing medium to steep hill country station, and regularly uses horses for stock work.
 
About You
If you’re someone who can turn your hand to most things on the farm and you enjoy fencing and general work and you can self-manage your day, this could be the role for you.
 
To do this job, you will have:
·         Experience with fencing and maintenance work (preferred)
·         Good time management
·         Positive attitude and initiative
·         Excellent communication skills
·         First class attitude to Health and Safety
·         Current NZ driver’s licence
