The Opportunity
Rarely is there an opportunity like this, offering you the chance to work on such a diverse livestock farm, with a variety of day-to-day stock work across deer, sheep and beef breeding and finishing units.
The Farm Manager and senior staff are a supportive team and would work closely with you to support you with the day-to-day responsibilities running a designated block within the farm, which amongst other thigs focuses on finishing deer.  This role includes general stock work and supporting other team members.
We have some flexibility in this role to consider are range of candidates with varied experience, you may be looking to take that next step, or be at a more senior level, regardless of where you're at in your career, your attitude and willingness to learn will count for a lot.
The Farm
Stuart Farm has a great location - just 15 km from Te Anau with hunting and fishing opportunities at your doorstep.  it’s a 3000-ha property carrying approx. 26,000 su consisting of red deer, angus beef cows and Romney ewes. 
Stuart Farm is also home to a red deer stud supplying sires to Pāmu’s deer farms.
About You
You will bring your passion, experience and can-do attitude to our team.
Ideally you will have:
·              At least two year’s shepherding experience
·              At least three to four genuine working dogs
·              Experience finishing
You must have:
·              Commitment and a first-class attitude to health & safety
·              Excellent communication skills
·              Enjoy working in a team environment and an ability to self-manage
·              A full and current NZ driver’s license
