This is your chance to join New Zealand’s largest farming organisation and apply your skills in stock work and general farming operations in a dairy environment.
The organics dairy support farms on the Pastoral dairy complex supports 7 organic dairy farms across the company with 4 located nearby and 3 in the Manawatu. The role would be ideal for you if you are keen to develop your livestock skills while potentially also spending some time on our local dairy farms to support them when required.
Your positive attitude will mean that you’ll embrace the unique environment of these farms.  There will be a high level of training and support provided. Organic farms have a higher requirement for record keeping, so you would need to be comfortable with this.
This role comes with comfortable on-farm housing in a 2 bedroom duplex. Excellent schooling options nearby. Friendly and supportive local community with easy access to a wide range of recreational activities.
You will bring:
·       Minimum 1 year farming experience
.       Ability to ride a 2 wheeler
·       Eager and willingness to learn
·       Effective communication skills
·       An exceptional attitude to health and safety and animal welfare
·       Self-motivation, initiative and a passion for farming
·       Restricted or full driver’s licence
