The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic dairy farm assistant ready to join our team on Broadlands Dairy.
 
You will join our close-knit and supportive team, your main responsibilities will include milking, fencing, feeding out and stock work. 
 
We have a robust health and safety regime at Pāmu, and have well maintained, up to date farm equipment.
  
The Farm
Broadlands is a 516 ha dairy farm with irrigated pumice soils and excellent facilities including a 80 bale rotary shed with meal feeders and milk hub. We milk 1150 Friesian cross cows. Broadlands started converting to an organic system from October 2020, so you'll have a unique opportunity to learn the organics side of farming.

About You
Along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, you will have:
·         Dairy farming experience
·         An exceptional attitude to health and safety and animal welfare
·         Be punctual and reliable
·         The ability to work unsupervised and good communication skills
·         Take pride in their work and surrounding environment
·         Restricted or full driver’s licence
