The Opportunity
As the Dairy Production Manager of Resolution, you will be responsible for supporting the Farm Manager to reach production targets by adopting a leadership role within the cow shed as well as assisting with milking, fencing and general stock work.
 
We offer 104 rostered days off per season, so you’ll be able to have a life outside of work.
 
The Farm
Resolution Dairy Unit is a seasonal supply dairy farm in a farm complex of 19, with 525 effective ha milking 1,080 cows at peak through a 60-bail rotary.  It’s got a close-knit team that performs well and has good housing and facilities, including an in-shed feeder and milk hub data system. 
 
About You
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and passionate about dairy farming who is wanting to grow their career and develop leadership skills.
 
You will also have:
·         3+ years’ dairy experience
·         Completed the ‘New Zealand Certificate in Agriculture - Dairy Farming Level 3’ or equivalentand working towards completing level 4.
·         ‘Assisting Milk Harvesting and Optimising Milk Quality’ or equivalent (MQ1)
·         A commitment to individual and team development
·         An eye for detail
·         High standards of animal welfare and commitment to health and safety
