If you’re experienced and looking for an opportunity to take on more responsibility, this might be your chance. We are seeking a driven individual to join the team as the
Dairy Production Manager (2IC). Tasman is located just 10 minutes from Levin and 25 minutes from Palmerston North, peak milking 320 cows through a 30 aside herringbone.

As 2IC, you will take on a degree of responsibility for feed allocation and animal health/record keeping. Having sound knowledge across all dairy operations is desired and a passion for organic farming will be a bonus.
 
This role includes a 3 bedroom house with a single garage. It is a convenient location offering a great variety of outdoor recreational activities nearby and has easy access to local schooling.

You will bring:
       Minimum 3 years dairy farming experience 
       ITO level 3 desired but not essential
       First class attitude to Health and Safety and Animal Welfare
       Sound knowledge and experience in grazing and pasture management
       Self-motivation, initiative and a passion for dairy farming
       Current NZ driver’s licence
