An exciting and unique opportunity has come about for a Shepherd General to join our fun and hardworking team at Omamari.
The position comes with a three bedroom home, located in a beautiful setting just 15 minutes from Kai Iwi Lakes and Ripiro Beach. With Dargaville only 20 minutes away, primary and secondary schooling are located nearby with the school bus stopping 5 minutes away.

Over a 3 year period we will build more of these intensive systems to cover the whole farm, eventually finishing 3000 head of cattle a year.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has great communication skills, is proactive and forward thinking and most importantly a team player.
You will bring:
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
· Commitment to ongoing learning especially with grazing management
· Commitment to high standards of quality and safety
· Current full NZ driver’s license
· At least 1 capable dog, ideally 2.
We offer an attractive salary with additional benefits, as well as ongoing training and personal development to help you reach your personal and career goals.
