Are you an experienced individual looking to grow your leadership skills? This could be your chance to succeed. Due to an internal transfer, we are searching for a Farm Manager who will lead our team on Bell Hill Dairy Unit which is located 10 minutes from Lake Brunner and 30 minutes from Greymouth. This 450 ha block will milk up to 930 cows through a 60 bale rotary shed with ACR’s and MilkHub.
 
As the Farm Manager, you will have a willingness to learn new systems and provide exceptional leadership to deliver strong results in line with Pāmu’s strategic aims and objectives. To succeed in this role, you must have extensive farming knowledge and have proven stakeholder and risk management skills.
 
You will be provided with a comfortable and modern 4-bedroom house with good primary and secondary schooling options nearby with bus at the gate. The location offers a friendly local community and is conveniently located to a wide range of outdoor recreational activities. What you will bring
·       Extensive knowledge and experience in dairy farming
·       Staff management experience and proven stakeholder and risk management skills
·       Ability to use farm management technology systems and record keeping equipment
·       Excellent time and communication skills
·       First class attitude to Health and Safety, Animal Welfare and Environmental Management
·       Current NZ driver’s licence
